Blktail deer shot at 20 yards or so on Cypress island,Wa
The first pic is where he was beded down and yes I shot him in the head. Blktail don't give you broadside shots some time. If you have a head shot at close range you take it.

A real beauty!! It must've been a proud day for you.
I remember hunting black tails when I was living on Vancouver Isle back in the 90's.
I usually got my 3 deer bag limit but it took something learnt mistakes lol
