Looking at a KP1.

My intent is to put a peep sight on it for a Colorado elk hunt this fall.

Are there aperture sights available for this model? Who makes?

Is this muzzleloader a good choice for a person wanting a peep sighted rifle?

I have a KP1 50 Cal/.223 combo with camo stock and stainless barrels. This is not only an awesome looking set up, but a beautiful shooting gun. I can tell you exactly what loads I shoot, which is dead nuts to 150 yards.

I purchased a KP1 recently from a buddy of mine that came with three barrels. 50 cal, .243 and 45-70. I really like this rifle. I used the 50 cal to bring down a doe this year which is my first muzzleloader kill. Very accurate!

I am having ignition problems with my KP1. using Blackhorn 209 & CCI 209m primers. This has cost me 2 deer in the past 2 days. Can anyone provide and suggestions. Gun is clean and dry.

Hi, does anybody know what 12ga shell shoots the best from a KP1 using the shotgun barrel? I have had good experience shooting 2 3/4 Remington Copper Solids from other slug guns I used. Any thoughts Thanks
