Whats the serial number and is it SS or blued?

Serial number change for the .45 twist rate was anything prior to #2291 on mild steel and #5043 on stainless were 1:20 twist. After that the Original DISC 45s and all Elite or Extreme 45s are 1-30.

Congratulations!!!
It sounds like you have a 1-20 fast twist.

Stay away from 3 pellet loads with 155gr bullets and you will likely have a sweet shooting rifle.

Upon further review & testing, my 'Elite' 45s are the slower, 1-30 twist rate. That seems to be the direction most of the newer 45s have gone. I just plan to shoot 195 grn Barnes & 200 grn SSTs, so all should be O.K..
